Farmers' Market Coupons Available

The Vermont Farm To Family Program provides $30 in coupons to buy fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and fresh cut herbs at over forty Vermont farmers markets, plus information about markets and using fresh produce. Coupons are available to income-eligible elderly households - defined as a household with someone age 60+. They are valid for only the 2008 farmers market season.

The 2008 application process starts June 23 and lasts until coupon supplies run out. The coupons are distributed on a first come, first served basis as applications are completed.

Contact your Community Action Agency (listed below) in mid-June to learn where and when the CAA will be taking coupon applications. An arrangement can be made for seniors unable to apply in person. Ask the CAA for more information.
