Supporting CVAA:

of a loved one or friend who has died. Let us know that person's
name and the name of the family member you would like us to notify
of your gift.
Program Donor - Gifts may be made to support a specific
CVAA service such as Case Management or Meals on Wheels. All donors
are listed, according to their wishes, in our Elders Advocate.
Planned Gifts:
Planned Giving - Donors may choose to make CVAA part of
their estate planning for charitable as well as tax reduction
reasons. Read more about our new partnership with the Vermont
Community Foundation - click here.
Gifts of Stock - When you donate an appreciated stock,
you are eligible for a tax deduction and you avoid paying captial
gains on the stock's increased value.
Bequests - Leaving a tax-deductible bequest in your will,
is a gift that will continue to grow, allowing CVAA to sustain
our vital programs for elders.
To make a bequest to CVAA, add a sentence to your will stating
your intent such as the sample sentence below:
"I bequeath __________________________________ (describe
dollar amount, property to be given, or proportion of your residuary
estate) to Champlain Valley Agency on Aging, Inc., a not-for-profit
corporation located in Burlington, Vermont, 05401, for its general
charitable purposes."
CVAA recommends you work with your attorney or financial planner
if you are considering one of these options.

Corporate Sponsorship - CVAA is fortunate to have the
support of many large and small businesses who contribute to the
well-being of elders in our community.

Advocate is published twice a year in the spring and in the fall
and offers advertisers an effective way to reach a wide spectrum
of mature readers in the Champlain Valley.
