At CVAA, we have weathered interesting times and look forward with optimism (sometimes tempered by trepidation) to the days ahead. The media has recently discovered what we have known for some time - that demographics are changing and an aging population presents new challenges and opportunities. There remains much to be done.
What we are able to do is only possible with the considerable help we receive from many quarters. We are grateful to all our volunteers and donors; to the three United Way organizations that support our work; to members of the Vermont Legislature who have stepped in to help when the federal government has not; to the many partners (Meals on Wheels providers, senior centers, transportation providers, and more) whom we support and who in turn make it possible to achieve our goal of “helping people to age with independence and dignity.”
